I'm so excited...Time Pilot is one of my favorite arcade games! Do you have any info about if it is ready to be sold to the public? Sign me up! I'm gonna get me my wings!

It's out, he got his already and did the video for it. Tuts needs to update his website for it, but it looks like he changed servers recently and maybe he hasn't gotten around to that yet.

Yeap, the game is out. The beta testers got the first copies last week, just for final checking. Kristof Tuts (the author) told me that he would be going public and putting an ordering page up on his website before the end of next week. Here's his website address www.kristofsnewvectrexgames.comli.com/but if you Google Vector Pilot you will see more

^Oooo, thanks for that, I had to go modify the latest batch of Vectrex news on the wiki. THOUGHT it seemed odd that he didn't have the update on his site if it wasn't available for everyone yet. I'm not modifying the Vectrex games list page though since it'll be out soon anyway I'm going to buy this YESTERDAY... *crickets chirping* ...See what I did there?... Ha ha, took me a while to figure out you made a time joke there (duh!). Oh, and happy birthday, btw

;D Thanks for the birthday wishes! Even though I'm replying a bit late because I worked the closing shift today Ahh...college and work take priority I'm afraid. I wish I could make a living being a video game enthusiast. That'll be the day. I might try a marketing position or something...hmm... Still gotta lay the money down for Vector Pilot and Vectrexians! Ugh. Late to that Vectrexians party. I'm not sure if I will be able to contain my reactions to playing Time Pilot on the Vectrex... It's SUCH a good port, just from first impressions in VectrexMad!'s video.

I sent an email to Kristof a few days ago to order this game. The video of it looked amazing!

No kidding. I've watched that video three freakin' times now...and that's something I don't do! Just the sound effects, the visuals, like when you complete a level, are great. And did anyone notice the rotating displays at the top left corner? It changes from the level you're on to lives left to the score...that's pretty masterful programming there, since a lot of games won't even display a score, as that slows things down. Granted, it's just due to optimization (note the earlier, slower [but still good] works of Dondzila like More Invaders! and Spike Hoppin' vs. Wormhole later, for instance), but considering there are a lot of clouds and such in the background being drawn as well, that ALONE is a great touch of a programmer who really knows how to work the hardware. BTW Thexder, welcome, and very cool name

I tried to sneak this home brew purchase by the wife. She was looking through the bank transactions last night and said "tuts?" and I didn't say anything.

:DThat is funny! ;D I had that happen once with two Colecovision sales on Ebay once. Really wanted a Canadian Coleco power supply and the wife said it was okay so I bid on one sale. Then thinking I was going to lose started to bid on another Coleco sale.
Well I won both auctions and ended up with five Colecovisons an empty wallet and an angry wife.
