No, that's just my color plan :-D It's done, when it's done!
Something else would be a 3D-Imager coding tutorial.

Sascha has decided to release this game and is debating how it should be released. If he can get a good amount of interest, the packaging will be of better quality, even including a screen printed overlay.

At the ejagfest 2017, I was asked about MENSCHENJAGD, so after 3 year of being in the Releasepipeline I've talked to John and we think it might be a nice X-Mas Release BUT the question is, who's interested in a physical and how many total. I want you to write me an email preorder[at]luchs-soft.de to let me know that you want a copy. If there are many ppl who are into that release, we'll do: 1.Package: Box (original size), Manual, Overlay, Red Shell, Cartridge if there are a few more than usual, we'll do: 2.Package: Box (original size), Manual, Red Shell Cartridge if there are as much as usual or less, we'll do: 3.Package: Slimcard (packed like vecz) Cheers!

If he can get a good amount of interest, the packaging will be of better quality, even including a screen printed overlay. I saw from an email today that one option (if there is enough interest) is for a complete game with box and overlay. I want one of those for sure, possibly 2 (my brother also has a Vectrex).

I've emailed already expressing interest. The CIB with overlay is what I said I'd like as well.

19 Supporters left for a Box release Sweet! Seriously, make the #1 option. You know what will probably happen, once you decide that there wasn't enough interest for #1 and you do #2 (or just #3) instead there will be the late-to-the-party guys who just heard about the release 4 months after you moved on and are begging you to add their interest to the game so that you can have the complete version. If you make enough (90, did you say?), they will get sold, either here or on AtariAge or one of the online sellers (Good Deal Games, Atari 2600, etc.) once people who aren't on these forums hear about the game from friends who bought one. I just don't want to see these things on eBay for 5 times the price because there's no other way to get them. And I love Vectrex games with boxes and overlays, the overlay is what distinguishes Vectrex games from the other consoles (ok, beside the obvious vector graphics themselves, hahahaaha) and gives them that classic arcade vibe.

An alternative I can see, if go with #2, is to work with stevenv so he makes the overlay available.

Would love the #1 option obviously. But I can also understand that John/Sascha dont want to sit on hundreds of € of unsold stock.

Would love the #1 option obviously. But I can also understand that John/Sascha dont want to sit on hundreds of € of unsold stock. I agree, but if he only makes 90 of them (was that the minimum for an overlay version?) and only sells 50 of them, the other 40 will get sold, just not immediately. I mean, I'm still looking for a 3D Lord Of The Robots because I didn't hear about that game when Fury Unlimited was selling it. Still! Some of us don't get to everything when it's first offered, unfortunately, and we have to hope that the thing shows up on eBay for merely 5x the price later. Or, hopefully, the homebrewist has made just enough that a few are available on Good Deal Games or somewhere. Which brings up the question of would it ever be possible for this forum to sell some games (and custom controllers and other stuff) in a similar fashion to how AtariAge does it? The coder makes the game, maybe even deals with the boxes and overlays and instructions, but sells them through here (or this forum buys him out and sets its own price). Or, he sells his own way and when he has a few extras left, offers them through some store that is set up here, with a slight bump up in price in order to cover expenses. I wouldn't mind that option, just so programmers could know they have a reliable plan B for when they maybe have a few more copies than they thought they'd have. Just an idea.

Emailed requesting option #1, fingers crossed we get enough for a complete with overlay release.
