Especially since there's one less huge seller of the Wii U, not bringing in the big numbers.

And we really don't hear much from the PC gaming side either. Most of the noise out there is for consoles.

Before last year, I read a lot of articles saying that PC was going to completely win against consoles, because it was already more powerful and more adjustable, and because a lot of games are sold on PC and consoles (and are usually cheaper and more beautiful on PCs).
But it was before Xbox One and PS4 were released, and now I'm not so sure it will be the case.
It seems that a lot of people are attracted by new consoles and a clear victory of gaming PC is not happening. Maybe it's because they are still cheaper than PCs (500€ for a console, 1000€ if you want a really good gaming computer). Maybe because console brands still have a huge fan-base (whereas PC brands are mostly unknown for normal people, even if nearly everybody has a computer, I'm not sure people really pay attention to the manufacturer).
Also, I'm not sure that gaming PC and console are really competiting, because it seems to me that a lot of people who like to play can own a console and a gaming computer (it seems more reasonnable that having different consoles where brands usually maintain the "console war").
