Odd for me to have been playing V-Frogger for the last week and a half and to then get that interrupted Because with doing a search for Omega Race, I ran across the Tardis remakes site, downloaded the Space Fury remake and started playing that here on the computer. Then I started playing the clone of Space Frenzy on my Vectrex again and put V-Frogger on hold until I get tired of S. Frenzy Nuts!

Mario games for me. Last weekend I had a friend over and we were trying Super Mario Bros. 3 and Donkey Kong on the Nes.
I never played it much because I thought Super Mario World for the Snes was a better game back then. We played and he showed me a lot more of the game then I had ever scene before.
Then I showed him the Atari 400 version of Donkey Kong and he thought it was done really well. That led to a heated couple of games all in good fun though.
After he left I spent about an hour playing Jungle Hunt on the 400. The family wasn't happy but I just knew I could get farther if I had more time to play.

Magical Tree & Zaxxon on the CV. Been practicing for the Donkey Kong Barrel Press competition as well.
Also, if you go to my www site you'll see the "Popularity Charts Survey" on the home page. Click on that and you can input the games that you are playing. We publish those in R'cade Mag as the most popular games.

What's Magical Tree? I liked the ColecoVision but it had a fairly decent library, so I'm not familiar with several of the games.

Magical Tree is a cutesy platformer where you're a little Indian that jumps from branch to branch on a tree moving upwards. There are prizes and hazards along the way. My wife and I were playing the ColecoVision the other night and I popped it in thinking it may be a game she would like it. She took to it very well and has the high score on the Retroboards at the moment. Not bad for having only played it three times! Magical Tree was ported by Eduardo at Opcode Games. I have his other home brews like Pac-Man Collection, Road Fighter and Sky Jaguar.

I followed some of those games when the now defunct Coleconation magazine reviewed them but I hadn't heard anything new until now.
Thanks for the heads up rmaerz!

In my opinion, the Vectrex and ColecoVision home brew communities are the most active right now. On the ColecoVision front, you have CollectorVision, Team Pixelboy and Opcode Games all releasing high quality home brews.
Opcode hasn't released anything in a while since he's working on the CV Super Game Module. But, CollectorVision and Team Pixelboy have been on a tear this year releasing top notch home brews.

What's Gulkave?
Playing Vectrex Sectis and Royal 21. Just finished Shining in the Darkness on the Genny, then back to the two 2600 games I mentioned in my previous post.
