Apparently, the new Super Smash Bros. game has generated so much excitement that fans are willing to pay good money for a small taste of the gameplay. Here's the link. Has anyone else seen anything like this? Super Smash Bros. has received a revival in recent years with a successful web documentary on YouTube and regular national tournaments. But I never would have anticipated that we'd see demos for the latest game being sold on eBay.

This is not the first time beta codes/invites have had a market for real $. Hearthstone beta had a huge 3rd party market for access.
Also, "early access" on Steam which has led to some controversies over unplayable games being available for sale.
