VecAdapt Vectrex Controller Adapters Now Available

As planned, I am now able to take orders (and send them too!) for my VecAdapt Controller adapters to allow Mega Drive / Genesis controllers to be used with the Vectrex.

I'm asking because it looks like a cardboard box with paper glued on. is it?

The last picture at the bottom of the page looks like wood on metal (especially with the screws holding it together) to me.

The case is a plastic box with the lid plastic welded on. I consider them very sturdy.

Admittedly the stickers are just paper and could wear off fairly easilly over time.

The pre-production ones (as in the picture at the bottom of the page) were cased in solid wooden boxes, the walls of the boxes were thick enough that I could drive the screw into the front side to secure the lid.

I'm down to the last couple of VecAdapts for sale now.

I can still take orders via Ebay or Email, but Ebay orders will have priority if I run out of stock before I can confirm Email orders.

The last ten have been very slow to shift (well, until this week for some reason), so I don't think I'll make any more for quite some time. So consider this the last call for orders.

OK, the last two are sold and I'm now out of stock.

As I noted in the last post, I don't plan on doing another run in the near future. However if anyone really wants one, I'll be able to make them on demand from parts I've got to hand. The price for this will be $100 AUD plus postage though, and it might be a week or two before I can fulfill the order.

VecAdapts are available again!

The new model has all the features of the last one, including built-in Auto-Fire and "Button Swap" (switch the order of the Vectrex buttons) functions. But now it also comes in a smaller case and for a lower price.

The cost is $25 AUD (Australian Dollars) when ordered via Email following the instructions on my website, or $30 AUD from Ebay (soon).
