Been wanting to post something new in this section for quite a while now We just don't download a lot of current stuff though, plus the iPad Mini was out of town for six months.
The Secret Society - Hidden Mystery is one of those "hidden objects" games, this one in regards to your uncle disappearing and you must find him. He had a magical talent, and as it turns out, so do you, which is in regards to manipulating objects in photos (hence why you have to find objects hidden in them).
So you have to find these hidden objects in photos before time runs out so you can reap the maximum rewards and all. There's also a slider puzzle where you try to move a beige piece of wood out the side of the puzzle box. Also, due to all of these people in your uncle's house (I think?) being careless morons in constantly losing things (mostly in regards to coins), they ask if you'll accept challenges to find them, which of course adds to your score so you can unlock stuff once you recover said items from said careless idiots.
However, right now I've only got two photos that I keep on combing over and over again, which is annoying. Of course, the same objects aren't in them, nor in the exact same places every time, but it's crap that that's all I have for now; that, and the slider puzzle to do. We played it for like an hour last night until the iPad got down to like 9% of battery usage, and I think once I hit 1000 points something else will be unlocked, which I'm at like 950 or so if I remember correctly.
Instructions are not clear though: am I missing something? Do I have to go over the same two damn photos/locations over and over again until I accumulate enough points to unlock another one? Is this par for the course for these hidden object games for free download ("free" unless you get annoyed enough to spend some money to quicken your progression through the game)? Granted, this is one of several things I hate about the digital gaming world nowadays, where you get instructions once and then never again, plus you can't look them up, along with there only being one game to save in case a device is used by more than one person (surely I'm not the only one where this happens!), etc., but that's a whole other thread entirely, so...
The pictures are good enough to look at and the sounds and music are nice too, and maybe it'll get better, but right now I rate this at a 6.5/10. This is available pretty much all over, on the iOS, Google Play, Kindle Fire, Mac and PC.
Anyone else play these types of games?
