There's a company here in the UK called 'Ultimate Arcades' (I think). They sell repro cocktail and upright arcade machines for home use. Depending on model you get upwards of 60 games with the option (on some machines) to download more. The most obvious notable difference to my untrained eye is they use a modern flat (computer?) screen rather than a crt. Are these things any good? Are the games authentic original? Anybody got one (or similar)?

I've seen many of those at the gaming expos I attend; I just played Time Pilot (while thinking "hmmm, I could play this on the Vectrex if I had the cart" ;D ), Donkey Kong 3, Burger Time, and maybe one or two other games on one a couple of weeks ago...one of those 48 or 60 games in one deals.
All the games were authentic to the best of my knowledge--they all played the same--but as you probably know, getting them to work on modern hardware is another thing entirely, as the warp function for Pleiades didn't work, just like with the copy I have of it in MAME. Granted I can't really comment on if the company that you know of is legit or not though but that's been my experience. I've still had fun with those machines though.
Also, you might want to look around their website if they have one; usually they'll say if they're licensed games if they're legit.

Sounds pretty good: 12 months general warranty, five years support. I'd go with them, legit or not
