I recently backed a Kistarter program for someone who bought a bunch of 64c injection molding dies he acquired through a warehouse auction. I received a blue 64c case and decided I would turn it into a retro arcade using Retro-Pi running Emulationstation. I had a non-functional 64C in my stockpile of parts and so I salvaged the most useful chips and proceeded to hack it apart in order to accommodate the Raspberry-Pi and C64 keyboard USB adapter (that I designed myself). I found out that this type of project is so much easier to do with the original "breadbin" C64 since the case holds the keyboard in place without the guts. In any case it actually works fairly well.
