Funny, I don't recall there being a bezel right above the coin slots, but that's pretty cool though, as I actually prefer it to Asteroids.
I usually get to play it at this gaming expo I've gone to over the years, but you'll be playing it way often than that! ;D
Congrats!

Yeah, on the Cabarets they move the marquees down below the control panel and above the coin door to save vertical space. It lights up too! Asteroids Deluxe is waaaay better than Asteroids, I'm declaring that as truth! My girlfriend can kick my ass at this game ;D .....

Heh, seriously? ;D Ah well, just as long as you have fun! Yeah... I'm way out of practice... grumble... bad eyesight... excuses... I'll have more time to practice now! If get Missile Command next to it... I think I'll cry a single, manly, crocodile tear... In a good way!

Great find darrin9999! Any chance you can give some more info about the Astrocade? It's neat to see the Montgomery Ward stickers.
Awesome futureprimitve can't wait for the updates!

Is it a gaming find if someone gives you something? Anywho I had a couple of friends give me a Rally IV pong system made by DYN Electronics and an Activision patch. Which I thought was pretty cool as he had the envelope and letter also. Never sent any high scores myself but always thought about it. Anyone collect these or are they a bit cheesy? Attachments:

No, I've got several of the patches myself, and free stuff's good, so cool!

My first thought on the patch was getting a jean jacket and sewing it on the shoulder. Everyone who group in the seventies I'm sure can remember getting iron-ons out of cereal boxes. maybe not but I always think of the sergeant stripes that kids put on old Army shirts.
Fixed a couple of Nes systems for a guy and he told me about a friend who bought a bunch of games a while back from a closeout mom and pop video store. They were Sega CD's and Dreamcast and he didn't have the systems so he was looking to get rid of them.
Most do not have cases but otherwise they were in good shape so I added more games to my collection. Seems like everytime I think about cutting back on games more pop up.

I know but at about 19 cents for each disk it seemed like a steal and if they weren't so old I would think they had been stolen.
I really want some of this new Vectrex stuff but I can't get it for that price.

There's a local restaurant/bar that has both the Asteroids and Missile Command cabaret cabinets. They've also got Pitfall II, Jungle Hunt, Tron, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., Joust, Joust (cocktail), Joust 2, Popeye (cocktail), They also host regular pinball tournaments.
I recently rediscovered a box of Atari 2600 games from my childhood. They had been stored away in a closet since I moved into my current house.

Wow, never saw Pitfall anywhere. That's pretty rare!
Same with Joust 2, but it's usually at an annual gaming expo I go to.

Are they still a quarter or fifty cents to play thexder or have they raised it to a dollar?
Not that it matters but I have always wondered what kind of power those machines draw?
