Love it!
When can I play it?
Is it 9 position digital joystick with a 'whack' button?
The one thing I would recommend is that if you are 'late' to whack one, they should have a random chance to take the hammer away and the player can panic for a while while time is ticking down.
(Also would like to add that Scramble is my favorite Vectrex game so the gratuitous use of that overlay is already a big plus in my opinion.)

Thanks for this! So much fun - even better with friends! Using the Vecvox is definitely recommended! I think it may be best played using an Arcade style controller if you have one. On the title screen, if possible, I think it would be great if the Mole in the "O" could bob up and down repeatedly (like he's coming out/going into a hole); that would be perfect!

Vectronic - thanks! I'm definitely planning to animate the title screen mole (and the game over one too) For those of you with lightpens I've added preliminary support. Choose 'Lightpen control' from the menu before starting. Use Lightpen in port 2 and press button 4 on the Vectrex controller to hit the moles. I think this is the first homebrew to support Lightpen but it certainly won't be the last Please note 2 player mode does not currently work and plays as 1 player only. WAM_Alpha2.BIN (7.56 KB)

{secret projects} don't tell the others, they don't need to know : just say it only to ME : you are making a gun for the vectrex, aren't you? Also works great with the light pen ... Chris, as it were the light range, that's nearly a gun game, isn't it?

Controls in 2 player mode : If using joysticks : P1 - Joystick in port 1, button 4 to whack P2 - Joystick in port 2, button 4 to pop up/down moles from highlighted hole. More hilarity: so one person can make the moles pop up? Too much!

It just keeps getting better and better! My friends and I laugh so much when we play this! BUT - I should tell you, when the Lightpen is directly connected to the 2nd controller port - we (obviously) get no sound ("ouch!"), when the VecVox is connected to controller port 2 we do get sound ("ouch!"), but when we plug the Lightpen into the (Madtronix) VecVox which itself is plugged into controller port 2 (with the second controller plugged into the VecVox unit), we get No Sound - but the Lightpen works fine. I would LOVE to play this with the VecVox speech and the Lightpen if at all possible! Thanks for this game demo - it's a blast!
