I am trying to make a color vector game using an FPGA and need some help on coding the vector generation. The game's playfield is based off of this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6wiHA8-CKQI need to display that (with less lines most likely), enemy ships and the players guns. Audio will be done using a POKEY chip implemented in the FPGA and vectors will be drawn with the Atari Star Wars AVG but running much faster than stock(if I can figure out how to build it in to the FPGA). I have looked in many places and haven't found much of anything. I will be happy to start with drawing a grid. Also where would one find an Amplifone monitor, I need fast deflection for this. Thanks for any help.
