and #9 here The postal service managed to smash the box up on mine Mine is crushed on one side too... The postage box used to ship is not sturdy enough for a boxed game, as soon as the postman handed it to me I was concerned and my concern was born out

Years ago Martijn (Revival Studios) had massive problems with bruised boxes of Color Clash. I really hope that history doesn't repeat, here. I've just contacted Martijn and pointed him to this problem and thread.

Although with Color Clash, the games were shipped in bags heh... so they have been shipped in boxes, but the mail system is still abusing them...? My CC came through reasonably unscathed, let's hope the same here...

My CC came through reasonably unscathed, let's hope the same here... Uh, for Rush Hour Martijn uses boxed shipping and the game box is still bruised?! The shipping box is very thin card and there is no inner tray/cart holder inside the game so despite also being in a clear plastic box protector any force applied to the shipping box will damage the structural integrity of the game box itself. If they are all sent in the same shipping box as mine then I will be very surprised if any arrive in perfect condition.

Today my copy of RushHour (Limited Edition) arrived. I was lucky and my copy arrived safely without any bruises. The white shipping box is pretty large (37cm x 26cm). Even two copies of RushHour would fit into the shipping box. The game box inside the shipping box is loose; there is no filling in the shipping box. The shipping box is better than just a bag but to me the box doesn't look very safe. I really hope that Martijn reacts and uses a smaller and sturdier box for shipping, soon. Anyway, thank you to Martijn for your porting RushHour to the Vectrex and now shipping copies to people all around the world! I still have to check it out but it seems like a challenging puzzle game.

Hmm, the fact the game is lose inside such a large box alone can lead to damage. I'm glad yours made it safely!

Strange that it seems to be shades of early Dondzila stuff again in regards to that

Got my copy today. It was exactly packed like Helmut's game in an oversized thin cardboard box. There is a box protector, no padding material whatsoever. The game box itself contains nothing to hold the cartridge. When I opened the box the lower flap of the box protector was open. Could be because of pressure from other parcels but my guess is it was caused by the cart moving around inside the box. There are some wrinkles on the lower flap of the game box now. No really big deal luckily. Still annoying considering it could have been easily prevented by a little more effort in proper packaging. I am living about 150km from the dutch border. Keeping my fingers crossed people still waiting, especially overseas, will get their copy ok.

Hmm, just adding some foam peanuts would have kept the box from moving so much. Still waiting for mine and hoint it arrives well.

Presuming mine hasn’t moved around as much because there should be a normal version in there too...

Just registered here to let you know that my copy #43 arrived last week damaged. It was loose in the box with no padding whatsoever. Also the cart was loose and dented the game box. The box has a tear and is also not glued very well. Also, the overlay is too big to fit on the console, it looks like it has not been trimmed properly. The game itself plays ok.
In all, for the price, I expected better. I have two copies of Big Blue which are top quality, plus one copy of Stramash Zone which is also of top quality. I was really hoping this would match them.

Sorry to hear that. Some packing material would have definitely helped.
