Oooooh nice! A retro-like game for the PS3! I was talking to Darryl Minsky, who had played a whopping 15 games for the International Play Your Vectrex Day, who didn't even know about Gravitrex Plus. I just sent him a link to it, as well as filling him in on Thrust. He said he liked this Gravity Crash game, so check out this promo! Hah, "space...used to just be black and white" (Actually this is probably closer to being a game with "neon" graphics rather than vectors, but what the hell, that's close enough )

Gravity Crash is a great game - I love it...or I did when I was able to play it. I actually bought a PS3 to be able to play it and it was the only game I got for it, so yeah - it's the only PS3 game I've ever played. Okay, to be fair the idea of getting a PS3 was also so I could watch 3D BluRay's and the PS3 didn't cost too much more then a standalone BluRay player and gave me a lot of extra functionality (ie. gaming) for very little extra money. So I played a lot of Gravity Crash (and never even saw any of my 3D movies) and then I didn't touch the PS3 for 6 months. The strange thing is that when I decided to play a bit of Gravity Crash again - those 6 months later - the PS3 was dead. Wouldn't turn on. There was no problem when I shut it down after playing it last, but it seems to have died from doing nothing at all. Very strange...and I live alone so no one else could've done something to it. Luckily there was still warranty on it, so I had it replaced free of charge. But I don't really play a lot on my consoles (I also have a X360), so the new PS3 was still in the bag I'd brought it home in after another 5 months (afair), so I sold it to a friend thinking I just didn't want the hassle with a Playstation. Works just fine over there though. I wrote a bit about my experience over here: www.retroremakes.com/remaketalk/index.php?p=/discussion/2712#Item_5...I'd like to play some more Gravity Crash tough. I even asked the developers if we'd get a chance to see it on the X360, and they told me they'd love to but unfortunately Gravity Crash is a PS3 exclusive and owned by Sony, so they can't do it. Oh well..it was nice as long as it lasted.

Hey this Gravity Crash game looks awesome. Does it use a button to thrust?
I've been reluctant to buy a PS3, but I thought I probably would end up buying one when Last Guardian comes out (still not even scheduled for release I think). My aunt recently got a PS3 for her kids and I was going to get them the Ico Collection disk (and spend lots of time at their house playing it). Would be cool to gift Gravity Crash game too but I see that is a download only game, so probably not an option. ... Hopefully it's still available in 5 years when Last Guardian comes out.
