Finally, the Kinect censor has obtained a worthy purpose! I think it's a brilliant idea. Who knew that Asteroids, a game three decades old, would become many times more immersive than any modern 3D game? I share Darryl's general reservation about motion sickness, though the slick surface would add some challenge to the game and ever more incentive not to fall off the stool.

They might have to add a seatbelt/strap people down to the stool. After all, we're talking liabilities here, as these people should definitely use some of their Kickstarter money to see an attorney or two to see about having insurance for their little traveling exhibition before they go out on tour.

Cool idea. I bet it could work with Space Invaders or Battlezone.
Recently seen an older episode of the television show The Big Bang Theory, were they used a Kinect camera hooked up to a 3D printer. Another useful purpose for the Kinect.

I bet it could work with Space Invaders or Battlezone. Holy crap on the latter! You'd REALLY have to move if you bumped into an obstacle. Seems to me it'd have to be 2D though, unless it's projected onto walls or something.

That is genius, VectorX. Walls would be good for Battlezone.
