FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE–Toronto, ON–Veteran game creator Christopher Tumber (Omega Chase, Vix, Spinnerama) returns to Vectrex development with upcoming re-issues of his long out-of-print Vectrex classics including Omega Chase Deluxe, as well as some brand new games planned for future release.
Among the new creations under development is Spectre, a vehicular combat game based on Exidy's 1980 coin-op maze game Spectar, with significant improvements for enhanced gameplay without compromising the game's original mechanics.
Release dates are TBD. For media inquiries, please contact christophertumber at vectorgaming.proboards.com. Because Tumber's Capital S software label has been dormant for much of the past decade, his releases are often misconstrued as abandonware and therefore in the "public domain." While this is an understandable mistake, be advised it is fully inaccurate; unauthorized distribution of Capital S software titles electronically or in physical form by multi-cart producers is in violation of international copyright law. Copyright protection continues for all of Tumber's previous releases including: Omega Chase, Omega Chase Deluxe, Tsunami, Vix, Spinner hacks of GCE originals marketed as "Spinnerama", as well as the demos 8ball, Philly Classic, & Pop.

Ha! If this post wigged you out, here's my rationale. BTW - Vix is my daughter's ALL TIME FAVORITE Vectrex game. I just didn't know we were playing an illegal copy. Welcome back!
