Various gaming (and other) odds and ends here, although unfortunately I’m going to have to limit these to people here in the States, since with overseas about the only way to get payment is through PayPal and my account’s screwed up right now so I can’t go that route. So sorry about that. Hell, most of these I’d rather trade anyway, but with how much postage is and I’m not working unfortunately I’m going to have to go the sell route for most of them.
Anything someone wants I can take a closer look at and take pics as well, along with giving out the condition of the items.
GAMING STUFF
Millennium Falcom CD-ROM Playset ($40) For those who don’t know what this is, it wasn’t sold in mass quantities and came with an exclusive Han Solo action figure. I’ve seen these at e-bay stores for as much as $50, and that was before shipping started costing a lot. These come in a big box so that’ll cost a bit to ship but I just want it out of here.
This is a kid’s game, so don’t expect to be playing it much, it’s pretty much just for hardcore gamers and/or Star Wars collectors. It comes with a big plastic rendition of some of the Millennium Falcon that you place on top of your keyboard and pressing certain sections of it (that’s indicated onscreen) will further you through the game.
Slik Stik 2600 controller–I mentioned this in another thread. This would just be for the cost of shipping. It has a button on each side of the joystick but doesn’t work, so I’d say this is for hardcore collectors only or for those who want it for parts/a project or a new paperweight. I can test it to see to what extent it works (if the joystick doesn’t work but the buttons do) since I don’t remember right now (or maybe the thing’s totally 100% dead, buttons and all).
MUSIC/MISCELLANEOUS
Twisted Sister book Make an offer on this one. Aside from the mandatory crease from looking at it several times it’s in pretty good shape but I don’t know how much it’s worth. Includes pics from legendary rock photographer Mark Weiss.
Gary Moore Wild Frontier tour ‘86, King Kobra “Best of the West” tour ‘86, “I’m busy/You’re ugly/Have a nice day” shirts The latter I had a pic up in my shirts thread. Old t-shirts can be worth a bit but how much exactly I don’t know; make an offer. The latter shirt I won’t sell for much though. These are all in pretty good condition and if anyone’s interested I’ll let you know about size and all (I think the K. Kobra is supposedly a large but it’s more like a “medium” size now, as it’s possibly shrunk a little over the years).
Starz Live at the Municipal Auditorium This is their unofficial live album, which it was thought that only 500 copies were made for promotional use only. This is the pretty big time, as I’d inquire at the mailing place about how it would be best to ship this one in a shock-proof casing or whatever (since it’s vinyl) and possibly even insure it. Another “make me an offer” deal, although I’d guess it’s worth about $100. Not counting however many times some radio station might’ve played it first, I’ve only played it three times myself, and it’s got no scratches that I can recall.
Rock ‘n Roll Comics #1 & 2 (Guns ‘n’ Roses and Metallica issues) Something a bit different for fans of these bands, as they are the fictional retelling of the bands’ success stories. The first issue is the first run print of it. In issue #2, rumors were addressed of Guns ‘n Roses suing (which they weren’t) and that the first run issue was already selling for $150. Years and years later I thought it would be worth $1000 or something, but a friend checked with a comic book store owner friend of his and said that those ran $20 at best, which sucks that that was just a rumor I saw where the Michael Jackson issue was running at $75 before the end of an e-bay auction once (don’t know why that much later comic was worth more, but whatever). These are in good condition with only a couple of mild creases in them which you may find cheaper at a comic book store, so I’m just guessing the Guns issue I’d sell at $12 shipped, the Metallica one for $8.
Well, thanks for reading all this
