I've written up an article on the most exclusive special editions of homebrew games released for the Vectrex. It includes all the unique special carts that I'm aware of. It includes photos and a short description of each and is mobile friendly. I thought it'd be something that people who haven't been into Vectrex that long might find interesting and informative. I want to thank Mayhem for filling in a lot of the missing data that I did not have. I am still looking to make this a complete article, so if you have pictures or information regarding I, Cyborg Omega, War of the Robots Omega, or War of the Robots CGE2K3 plus a better picture of Royal 21: Vegas or happen to know of a special edition I missed please shoot me a private message. tbone1892001.wix.com/vectrex-elite

If you want a better shot of Royal 21 Vegas, I'll take one for you. Thankfully I happened to be at that CGE in question to buy it from George in person.

Great, lotta pictures I'd never seen before!
There was a limited number of autographed Vecmanias that were sold on the Good Deal Games web site too. That's about all I can think of.

Actually speaking of GDG, I think George's version of VecSports Boxing was fairly limited, might have been 15 copies. I'll check...

I believe that John signed and numbered Vecmania well into the 200s. Not as rare as rare you'd think.

Apparently George is still occasionally manufacturing batches of VecSports Boxing for GDG, so it's probably not THAT limited to warrant going into the article.

I just bought Vec Sports Boxing from GDG. At the time, he had one left which is probably gone now. According to Martijn's collection, there was an initial run of 100 of the VHS silver box Vec Sports Boxing. Also, limited but not exclusive. I have a word document that includes production numbers that are public as well as variations of each release which I may make into some kind of searchable site in the future.

Yes, there's three distinct versions of the game. The original Manu handmade edition (13 copies), the original GDG run in clear plastic cases (100 copies), a possible second run from GDG in the same packaging (another 100 copies), and run(s) from George in his small, square black boxes (unknown number). And before you say, yes that is what I asked George, and he doesn't know directly how many of those he has made. I am reasonably aware that two small runs (possibly 10-15 copies each) were made initially in the old, thicker type plastic box. The last run he made was in the thinner, studier box type used for Hexic. So you're probably looking at around 50 copies of George's version at a good estimate so far.

Site updated with more pictures and more entries. Thank you very much rapetou33 and Mayhem.
Very close to having a complete article. Anyone know the whereabouts of WOTR:Omega and WOTR:CGE2K3? Who might own them? Or does anyone have some kind of pictures or info? Watch them come up for sale on ebay....

Mail Plane? Mine Storm 2? Mr. Boston? Engine Analyzer? Test Cart? Kiosk Display? This was one of a kind: Google Groups(First result "Vectrex in a nightclub?" - Can't seem to link directly to post) The bar may have changed hands several times (I believe it was closed for a while and then operated under a different name) and they no longer have a website. I haven't been there since I dropped off the cart. Small chance it's still on their bar after > 10 years but probably not. I don't remember if I made a cartridge for the Digital Press 10th Anniversary or PhillyClassic 3 demos or just burned and later reused ROMs. The Digital Press demo is more likely, since I remember discussing that project with Joe Santulli. If there was a cartridge he may have it, otherwise the wereabouts are unknown. (Actually, I don't see any label artwork in my Vectrex directories so there probably wasn't ever a "real" cartridge for either - However, I also can't find artwork for the NASA cartridge and I'm pretty sure I put a label on it - but I may not have to prevent a collector from stealing it from the bar). The ROM used for SAW Gallery Demo for the art gallery exhibit was reused as was the UTG demo shown at the Space Instigators release party at Invisible Cinema. (I'm documenting these here to refute any possible future claims).

Mail Plane? Engine Analyzer? Test Cart? Since it's a "releases" article, it seems like to me those don't qualify since they weren't released to the public.

Indeed, which is why as the article states, there's no entry for Solar Wars or Joust Evolution either. Only games that were finished and sold to the public in some form.
