I received a picture with a version of All Good Things I wasn't aware of. What's it look like? One of the problems when I started this project is that there are so few pictures out there for some games. There are no pictures on the internet for some games, even common ones. There's still many of the common GCE games that need pages of on the wiki too; all the games I own or owned have pages (except for 3-D Sector-X, since I don't have an Imager or modern day equivalent to play it with yet. So that's just a stub page). I don't have many of the original GCE games as of yet. Big-assed e-mail sent, by the way

Mayhem, there were 91 per-orders for Sectis, considered Sectis First Edition. These were the only ones to receive the clear case and T-shirt.
I figured I was being pretty bold to ask you for pics of Joust and Solar Wars so I didn't want to bother you too much with stuff I could get from others. Plus, I might have a line on getting my own copy, so I was intending to wait and see but things are coming together fast now.
The guide will feature links to The Vectrex Wiki. Since there's a lot of work to be done yet with entries there, I hope that a few people will take a moment to write a few things or add a few things in regards to the games lacking. This guide will not go into gameplay, controls, reviews, etc. I'm not that great of a writer. It will just give you info on collecting, rarity, packaging and variations with a lot of pictures.

Gotcha... well, I know you've handled things professionally so far and have been more than friendly, so I didn't really mind taking shots of those two. Heaven knows there's probably no decent shots of them out there, so one isn't going to hurt, especially when they are going nowhere Actually, I was going through some old photos yesterday, and was reminded of this... www.flickr.com/photos/mayhemers/1875137604/in/set-72157602937055835If ANYONE has the Logo Lite and/or Star Sling versions in the same plastic box packaging that Spike's Circus came in, let me know as I'd like to probably buy them

Very interesting, Mayhem.
Has anyone talked to Alex Nicholson recently?
While I have pictures of Spike's Circus Limited Edition (in the plastic box), I still haven't seen Spike's Circus Classic Edition (in the cardboard box).

I have not forgotten about the overlays. I will ask for addresses once the overlays are ready to ship.

I just finished the Checklist feature on the Guide. It has features and organization so you can pretty much customize it to whatever your needs are. If you're Mayhem, you don't use any filters. If you only want to 1 of each game excluding one off, you can use the filter exclude "exclusive". For collecting and valuing purposes, I have included columns for whether it is currently in production, how many were produced and whether the rom is available. The rest of the Guide is nearing being ready to publish. I just need to add a few pictures and decided to add a gallery feature so all the pictures on the site can be blown up bigger to more closely exam the details. After publishing, I will still need further pictures to make it even more complete however it will be a resource like has never been available to Vectrex enthusiasts. I hope to publish this tool by the end of the week.

One may think that I am flattering you, Tony, but let me tell you that I am simply astonished and admirative at imagining the work it represents and the time you should have spent on it. Thank you truly

The Definitive Guide to Vectrex Collecting is now available for Public viewing! tbone1892001.wix.com/vectrex-guideIt took me about 3 weeks. There are now entries and pictures for just almost all games that have been available for the Vectrex. It includes a ton of brand new pictures, in some cases more than you can get by doing a google image search. I have added a gallery of images which can be clicked on for larger pictures. Also available are links to the Vectrex Wikia so you can continue learning about the each game. Some unfortunately do not have entries and I hope that you can help out the Wikia to make it much more complete. A valuable tool has been included for collecting and valuation. The Checklist can is searchable and filterable for whatever your needs are. -New images -Gallery for expandable images -Tons of new information -Links to the Vectrex Wikia -Checklist There is still a fair amount of work to be done just to the entries I have. Even more pictures of variations are needed including many of John Donzilla's releases, Debris Limited Edition, and Spike's Circus Classic Edition. So if you don't see a version you have, please send me a picture so I can include it. l also intend to add information regarding accessories like the AtariVox+, Madtronix Imager, Hydra Controller, etc and then eventually the original games. Please let me know if there are any broken links, information you think may be wrong, information you can add (I have no idea how VecRam works) or any major spelling errors. What I have wouldn't be possible without the help of a lot of you guys. So I thank you very much!

(I have no idea how VecRam works) One end plugs into your computer's serial port. The other end plugs into your Vectrex's cartridge port. You use a specially configured Terra Term to upload your binary to the VecRam. (I'm still using mine.)

Whoa! Nice job, looks great! One thing my old company was "Capit al S Software" (You have Capit ol S Software). (See, it's a pun, because I was living in Canada's capital city and there's a somewhat common expression of excitement or arrogance to say "Capital _ <whatever>" to add emphasis. Get it? Get it? Ok, it's not that funny...) Anyway, the company's long been delisted by the government due to dormancy. I'll probably just be releasing stuff under my own name from now own.

Heh, there's also no letter "L" anywhere in my first or last name.

I took care of those things Christoper. Sorry about that. That's my memory playing tricks on me. So, the items pictured on the VecRam page are two separate versions? Is the one in the left picture older than the right one? VecRam

Looks great so far! Going to take a bit of time today to go through it all I've been pretty excited about this, as it was truly a group effort and just seeing all the pictures of many versions I wasn't familiar with is cool enough. Few things I've caught so far: *Did Dondzila do anything, Vectrex-wise, this year? He had shut down CGC in 2013 but you probably know more about it than I do (possibly he got some things/parts in and did them this year after all?). *The Protector/YASI page has a picture of Vectopia on it *When you click on Nebula Commander it goes to the Spike Hoppin’ page instead Also: I also plan on doing the same when I edit pages, linking them to your pages so people can see different versions of the carts. I'm not going to edit pages just to put these in though, it's just when I have to change something or spot a mistake or whatnot, but I'll definitely keep it in mind.

So, the items pictured on the VecRam page are two separate versions? Is the one in the left picture older than the right one? I have the one on the right. AFAIK, Richard did multiple versions of the VecRam and later the VecFlash. I'm not sure which came first but I probably would have grabbed one as soon as Richard made them available so the one on the right is probably the original version? Maybe ask Richard? I'm pretty sure he did other multi-carts, like these as well: www.playvectrex.com/vectech/rh_multi1.jpgwww.playvectrex.com/vectech/rh_multi2.jpgwww.playvectrex.com/vectech_f.htmBTW, links on your page: Richard Hutchinson -> VecFlash Richard Hutchinson -> VecMulti Are mixed up

There was a lot of copy and pasting, so its no surprise that there are some mix ups. Looks like I already have a few things to work out.
Chris, I believe that one is a bare PCB version of the other, but now I can add that picture. I'd be interested in adding Ronen Habot's Multicart if I can get info on what game he included and/or a picture to identify it. Suppose, I can add "The Final Cartridge" too.
