Just a quick one on Vec Sports Boxing. a post from rec.games.vectrex on 2009-05-14, from FURY. Vec Sports Boxing Re-Re-ReleaseManu's classic boxing game is now available in its 3rd edition fromGood Deal Games, after a very short 2nd release of only 15 cartridges- due to loss of artwork after a hard drive crash. As with the last version, I used the same small black boxes that I usefor my own games + the manual + new and better artwork! Not available from my website - Exclusively available from Good DealGames:www.gooddealgames.comCheers/mostly

Ah yeah, that's why he switched from the all black to the red/black art... he had the hard drive crash.
I guess the all black version should be added to the Elite collecting article as there are only 15 copies of it heh...

I have made a significant update to the site. You can now view entries by Developer or by Alpabetical Order. There is also now a search function and I've included a lot of entries for Homebrew Accessories (still a lot more to add) plus list of games for each multicart. In addition, I've tried to limit unnecessary scrolling by keeping the preface to only the front page. I still want to add some artwork and a Did You Know? feature as well as continuing to add more and more entries and more and more pictures.

I see you have the internal message from my #23 Vectorcade on there... I was collecting pictures of the messages but never did anything with them... I'll dig them out and send them on as this seems a good place to keep them.

Impressive work, Anthony! Of course I like the Alphabetical and Developer sections, and the great graphic work; but my favorite is the Checklist (the way you can sort by multiple columns). Bravo by the tons of useful information! And the format of the web seems me a success, too I have a Berzerk Debugged, a bit different. The box is not VHS: 14x18x3 cm I bought it from Atari2600 a time ago... Here you see a message from the editor: Unfortunately I can´t access to that ftp. And here the back side: Little and dumb robots.. The good Otto is the soul of this game

Looks like a very early Berzerk Debugged there, going by the back of the inlay.

I appreciate the continued help to fill in the gaps that I need of different versions of all the games. There is also a version of Berzerk Debugged that is labeled "Verzerk" in the exact same style. RPGCollector has promised to get me a picture of this to add to the Guide. In total, I believe that there are at least 4-6 versions just of Berzerk Debugged. Sometimes the differences are hard to spot. In this case, it may only be the name. I may have mentioned it before but John also had 2 different versions before he stopped production of his games which differ only in the title/logo used on the side spine. Thrust PageAttachments:

Sometimes the differences are hard to spot. Yeah, I didn't know about the flat/bubble spine thing until you told me and I had to send in additional pictures (such as the above).

Looks like a very early Berzerk Debugged there, going by the back of the inlay. Yes, I now recognize a similar graphic model in others early launchings, like Rockanoids Remix and V-Frogger by example. Talking about V-Frogger, I own an overlay, likely handmade. I unknown its first origin or if it is an interesting or "proffesional" item to show in your guide, 50tbrd; but for sure it´s an example of the effort of the vectrex fans I could like to know if anybody here got it too, or can throw a bit of more information

It is one of Ed Smeltzer's overlays from Vectrexoverlays.com. Besides have handmade reproductions of all the original overlays, he also offered overlays for Moonlander, Protector, Thrust, Hangman, and City Bomber as well as an alternate Minestorm overlay. I intend to include them in the Guide as well.

Was it one of Ed's overlays that was sold with the YASI/Protector homebrew recently that went for over 100 GBP?

Yes. That was one of Ed's Protector overlays. The one sold with Moonlander was also.

Was it one of Ed's overlays that was sold with the YASI/Protector homebrew recently that went for over 100 GBP? I reviewed my books... This one was bought (alone) from the ebay store of retrogameremporium, UK, last January. It was around 33 EUR, around 27 GBP of then. It seems I did a good deal.. And despite a non perfect polishing, it works really good!

Made a bit of an update. There are a few new entries, a bunch of new pictures, some updates on the information and corrections. Some of the very important pictures I still need are Spike's Analog Water Balloons, the 4 DIP switch version of Vectrom, Madtronix Vectorzoa Multicart, the version of Protector/YASI with the white background, and any CGC Custom Cart such as Dark Tower, Minestorm II or Mail Plane in addition to ones I've previously mentioned - Sundance 000, Royal 21/Vector 21 Double Cart, Zantis 000, WOTR CGE2K3, WOTR Omega, "Verzerk" version of Berzerk Debugged, and Spike's Circus Classic Edition. tbone1892001.wix.com/vectrex-guide
