Not my listing, but might be interesting for Europeans : VeCavesI CyborgI went to 125 euro on VeCaves, I don't want to spend more on a homebrew game...

I'd like to bid but there are so many variables. Language, bidding, shipping.

If you create an account you can email him via the site, and ask if he ships outside of the Netherlands. I tried to do the same (I live in Belgium), but he didn't reply.

That's actually interesting ... I am afraid he is not really interesting in selling abroad : he would have chosen Ebay.com and not a local auction market.

He may not speak English. I can't navigate the site because its in Dutch. Then there's issues of payment as well. I know a lot of people even on ebay.de only take bank transfers. There's a copy of VeCaves out there for me somewhere.

Even if he has no desire to do it himself, it'd be nice if he authorized the rights to someone like Packrat or Madtronix.

Then there's issues of payment as well. I know a lot of people even on ebay.de only take bank transfers. Which is actually illegal I think, as you have to offer Paypal amongst the options. Unless it's different for German users...

Am I correct that the auction ended? Looks like the highest bid was 170 Euros/230 USD. I'm sure that more could have been gotten for it on eBay Worldwide but I doubt it's the same values it was several years ago.

If seller and buyer agree on a price the item will be set to *reserved*, and once the payment is done it'll be removed. I guess that the seller is waiting for an higher bid.

There may not be a need to purchase overpriced copies in the future.
