Howdy-
I'm going through some more of my oddities (at least odd to me), & I have a handful of what I guess are foreign (non-US) loose carts whose labels say:
Soccer Football Star Ship Web Warp
When I boot Soccer Football, the title screen says "HEADS UP" (the US game's name) When I boot Star Ship, the title screen says "STAR SHIP" (not "STAR TREK") When I boot Web Warp, the title screen says "WEB WARS" (the US game's name)
Is this normal? Do I have some weird US cartridges that had alternate labels applied? I don't think so--I vaguely remember buying these from a European eBay seller & recall getting overlays whose text matched the cart labels'.
Odd that some names were changed in the programming & some were not--perhaps because they expended the extra effort on Star Trek because that name is copyrighted, while the others were unique names?
Thanks, -Jason
