Just my $.02: in previous tournaments if you could roll the score in any game you were to provide video evidence of doing so. I don't think capping scores for a game is ever a good idea - let players marathon for high scores if they can do it. Better yet, what you could do is put 1 hour time limits on games and require video evidence.
I can marathon Star Castle. Without 1 hour time limits what I would probably do is put up a score that is 2 or three times higher than the second place score. Best time to do that is right before the end of the tournament when majority of the scores are in or save it for the last day of the tourney.
Remember that your tournament percentage is the average of your top 6 percent scores. So, if you're a player that can marathon a game there's probably no need to put the person in second place on a title all the way down to 20% because more than likely at that point with the percentage so low their score won't be factored into their tournament percentage anyway.
I think the excuse for not having a USB cam is a poor one, since they are not that expensive.
Glad to see the high level of participation this year. Keep it up!

I think the excuse for not having a USB cam is a poor one, since they are not that expensive. Excuse the hell out of me for having my health crippled to the point where I take literally a dozen naps a day, making working horribly miserable, I have no money coming in from the state or from unemployment and I have less than one dollar to my name right now. True, I do have money coming in at some point, but it's been delayed for a while, but at least I covered myself by recording the person on multiple occasions who owes it to me, so now they face Breach of Contract litigation since they promised it to me on a certain date and that day is past. Because in the state of Texas, an oral contract is legally binding, but they're usually impossible to prove; not so in my case, and it's 100% legal to record in this state too.

Scores have been updated. Chainsaw is leading with 93%. Thanks for your explanation and opinion, Vectrexer. I've just added a limit for playing time in the rule set which will prevent people from submitting scores achieved by marathon playing. For now, the Zantis scores are limited to 9990. Players who have a score of 9.900 or more points can ask here for revoking this score limit. Video proof will be needed, then.

Puhh, first I had a very bad evening. Played over 1 hour (or 2 ?) different games, but I didn't make good scores. (I hate the steering of Protector, where you change the direction of the ship with a button instead of the Joystick... And the enemies that are firing directly at your ship in Fortress of Narzod are also awful bad...) Respect to VectorX and wazzal for their Protector scores and wazzal for his Clean Sweep score...
But then, the last game I played today was Star Hawk, and it was just amazing:
Star Hawk: 348400

Respect to VectorX and wazzal for their Protector scores Eh, like I inferred earlier, I don't know what happened to my scores where I used to make 80,000 or so, but oh well

Oh hcmffm, sorry my "controlling madness", but I noticed by change, that there is a problem in the column "#games". It seems, that "Tour de France" doesn't count as game in this column. (so I played 9 games until now, but there are only 8 in this column, or f.e. fmml played 5 games, but there are only 4 in column "#games". No big problem, but I thought to tell it anyway.

Scores have been updated. Chainsaw is leading with 100%. Chainsaw: Congrats to your outstanding Star Hawk score! And Rip-Off score is also very impressive. Thanks for your feedback to the game count. I've just corrected this in the spreadsheet. Handling Tour De France properly gave me a bit of a hard time.
