Found this game today in the Kindle app store. It's like an updated Atari Freeway but still blocky enough to look old school. Great fun and the chicken sound effects are brilliant. Free download too.

That is a hoot. Looks like a mixture of Frogger as well.

Got reminded of this when I saw someone posted a score of it on highscore.com. Does it have any actual levels, or does it potentially go on forever? It's a helluva thought to just continually cross streams, freeways, and railroad tracks to no end, if that's possible. I only watched the first couple of minutes of it (I'd say it's worth it for the intro and as he unlocks or earns a new dog character to use ) before skipping to his best run at 25:43, which you really get a feel for the game then. Hell, you should sign up and request a Kindle platform, as his score was only 111. Or do the Kindle run on some OS that classifies them as to being something else (like Android)?

I haven't played this for some time... as fun as it is initially it does get a bit monotonous. There is one character (and I can't for the life of me remember which one) where as you proceed it goes dark and a disco ball drops from the ceiling. That's a good`un.
I think I was occasionally getting into the 300's towards the end. And yes, it just goes on. And on. And on...

Oh well, nice throwback to Freeway/Frogger though, at least

It is a good casual game. When my mom purchased a Galaxy S5, her first smartphone, and wanted to try out some different games and apps, Crossy Road was one of the first ones I suggested because it reminded me of Frogger.
