Really odd, I just ran across this by accident just now: ggdb.com/Collectors/ViewMemberImage.aspx?mid=1256&iid=525Perhaps it's just a Vectorbeam cab of some sort, or maybe he just made it himself. Seems really wrong if he gutted it (unless the game it came in was beyond salvage, but the cab was in ok shape) just to run MAME on it. Looks like he's got Zektor running on it or something.

I don't know. Doesn't look like he butchered it. It kind of looks to me like it was a display stand of some sort.

Facebook page is here if anyone wants to say "Hi" but it looks like he hasn't been active there in a while: www.facebook.com/darin.danford(Scroll down and you'll see the cabinet along with a Rip Off cab)

None of the Vectorbeam games (Barrier, Space War, Speed Freak, Warrior) had a cabinet like that so unless it's from some prototype or trade show model I think it's just a custom cab he has made himself to run Mame on. The X-Arcade stuck in there rather than make a proper control panel makes the whole thing look untidy imho.

Looking at it again, I suspect this was just built from scratch. There is no space for a coin door so it was never a routed arcade game.
