fmml, I'm not unhappy overall. It's more like you said, for the price I had an higher expectation. But the console seems in very good state. The controller just good I'd say. The games, depends, some good, some less, it's old stuff after all. Prices are very high and I'm putting a lot of value on not spending too much time searching our returning so this vectrex is here to stay gliptitude that's interesting. What I'm thinking is, if I want this to last long term, maybe it could be a good idea to purchase some replacement pieces today if 1) those are the most likely to break and 2) they might be hard to find in a few decades. Does it make sense? BTW now you made me very curious about trying it gravitrex lol

Glip. You make a robust case for the defence. I still think it's poop. (I think I,Cyborg is poop too.) btw I can't agree with the 'compares favourably' bit. Gravitrex to Web Wars or Narzod is like Picasso to a 3 year old with a new pack of crayons.

Glip. You make a robust case for the defence. I still think it's poop. (I think I,Cyborg is poop too.) Poop I poop? Too poop et poop tu poop? Poop! btw I can't agree with the 'compares favourably' bit. Gravitrex to Web Wars or Narzod is like Picasso to a 3 year old with a new pack of crayons. Yes i said MOST of the original library. You have chosen two of the best games for graphics. Compare Gravitrex graphics to Cosmic Chasm, Space Wars, Solar Quest, Rip Off, Mine Storm, Star Castle, Hyper Chase, Armor Attack, Spinball, Blitz, Heads Up, Scramble, Berzerk.. Is like a 3 year old with pack of crayons to a 3 year old with pack of chalk. .. Or Giacometti to Picasso.

But at least those other games you mention use lines drawn in something other than 'vertical' or 'horizontal'*. Like I said... each to there own. *apart from Armor Attack Ps. I'm off to google Giacometti. He sounds Italian. Is he a celebrity chef?** **I know, I know. I'm just asking for trouble.

Haha, thank you. Nobody tells me if you guys ever buy replacement parts for the future I bought a capacitor kit once, and it still sits in a box somewhere. I basically bought entire Vectrexes for the future, including non-working ones. I have never needed to rely on them, and always pretty much used the same one i started with.
