Well, I'm glad we at least cleared the mystery up, and you can play Marine Fox!

Great news! Glad it worked out. Don't worry about the time I spent, it was not a lot and also, learned to make things even safer as far as initialization is concerned.

Sorry for the late reply.
So it is a Github/my pc problem. Strange, but I am glad it has been solved. Battlezoned, could you send me a copy of the working rom?
Thanx everybody!

If by Battlezoned you mean me, sure. PM me your email address and I'll send the working versions later today when I get home. If you have a different PC and download the .bin from Github on that then put it onto your VecMulti from that same PC, it may work just fine. Otherwise, patching the .bin using the Patcher program in the Utils folder of your VecMulti (once agin on that same computer) should fix the issue. Like I said though, if you need the .bin, PM me.

Yes. Please try mountaingoat 's download first. The feedback on that version will help him out immensely on figuring out what is happening with his uploads. If all else fails, PM me for a working .bin that solved your same problem.

My friends' 2.5 year old son is becoming a Vectrex fan and Marine Fox seems to be one of his favorites. I think the tone and pace of it makes it uniquely appealing to the uninitiated. For kids it helps that it can be played with only two buttons. .. And for me it helps that this game (as well as Super Goat Jumper) seem to be so elegantly put together. .. I also (still) particularly admire the ways in which it elaborates on and changes the original game.
I had given these friends a Vectrex as a wedding gift. It would cool to be able to gift them a Marine Fox package to play with their son!

I'm always glad to hear about the younger generations enjoying the Vectrex, and Marine Fox is already a solid fun-to-play game that I hope will see a full physical release (Box/Cart/Overlay/Manual) in the future like NOX/DeathChase and Big Blue. It deserves that if possible.

Finally played Marine Fox for the first time this weekend. Fantastic job. One of the best homebrews out there.
I even enjoy the homage to Solar Fox while still being quite different. I immediately started pecking for a speed up button, then a fire button, then accepted that this is a very different game. I still love it!
