The "Mail Plane" topic got got very quiet here in the forum but in the "Vectrex fans unite!" group on Facebook there are news. Production is still on its way and preorders made in December are supposed to be still valid. (Please note: I just wanted to give all a status update. I don't want to attract people to the Facebook group which in some parts looks like a show-off and sales platform to me.) |

They mentioned shipping the first ten copies a while back but that's about it iirc.

I think it was the first 20 but Chris Parsons who is among those 20 said he had not received any notification on how to pay.
Federico responded to me last night and stated that he's still trying to get everything together and is waiting on the T-shirts.

I am on the list from January 2015.
I am less than #30 (some before me wanted 2X).
I don't remember if I paid or not...
I remember checking that his ROM was indeed the newest prototype found thus far, and it played to the end. (The earlier known ROM was not complete.)
So from the info thus far, nobody has said they have paid, and the gamescollection.forumcommunity.net list is still valid?
It has got to be tough funding everything without taking any pre-order money, being in another country, etc.
I wish there was more frequent communication as we might be able to help, or at least know if the 2 year wait is due to money, real life, parts, printing, etc....

I actually received an email from Frederico on the 6th of october. He said that it is on the way but he and others are very busy. He apologises for the delay. He confirms nobody has to pay before it is ready to ship.
