To be fair, and to give Chris credit, I do think his sales attract a slight premium, because they've all gone for more than I was expecting heh. The last sale of Protector LE I recall was in the UK and went for around 200 Euros (hence my guestimate).

I thought the one Chris Parson bought was the cheapest I had seen at 300USD over a year ago.
With a few exceptions, it seems that more rare/desireable items such as Protector LE, Vectorcade, VeCaves, etc have been decreasing in prices while A LOT of more common/ less desirable items such as I, Cyborg, War of the Robots, older Donzilla titles, etc have been skyrocketing.

As a new collector, the older more common items for the community like War of the Robots have sort of dried up and are in collections. They've actually become scarce and so when they do pop up on ebay they go for a premium.
That Protector LE with the overlay was a great item, I hope it went to a good home.

You just have to be patient. Sometimes there are dry spells but then a bunch might get listed back to back. I always say that sooner or later everything gets listed on ebay no matter how rare.

This is very true. I very recently acquired an original near-mint Passport Magazine from it's original owner, and as far as I have been able to discern there are only like 6 known copies of it. Also, look at the 2 Mr. Boston carts that have appeared recently, or the 2-3 Mini-Cades in as few months (even rarer it seems). It's like fishing; wait and always watch that bobber.

Add my four other Passport Magazine copies into the count. But I get the feeling that are more than 1O separate copies out there. I could be wrong.
