Here's something that would be cool to have...
I had talked to Curt Vendel a few years ago for an article I wrote on vector graphic games history, as he had created the Awesome Arcade, a home arcade-like machine that had licensed versions of Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Battlezone, Black Widow, Gravitar, Lunar Lander, Space Duel, and Tempest, the latter of which he even threw in a spinner control to those who requested one (which is pretty much THE only way to play Tempest!). The P. A. M. follow-up was a smaller version so it could fit onto a table or whatnot.
I don't know if he started production up on them again, but he had quit making them a few years ago due to the economy being in the toilet. He said he would start making them again once things started looking up, as they cost less than half than Ultracade machines, and his prices even included shipping, if I remember correctly.
