I thought I had until 2am est to post my last scores before being limited to 2. Probably won't make much difference but that's why I posted my scores at that time.

As organisator of the Vector War I want to follow the rules as a player precisely. With my score of Stramash Zone played with "CLIPPING OFF' I'm not 100% sure. Manual of Stramash Zone says: Clippiing ON - Don't draw off the edge of the screen. Scary. Clipping OFF - Draw off the edge of the screen. It's fine.
Sounds as if "Clipping OFF" is default. Could someone please check?
EDIT: I just had a look at previous screenshots and from what I can see everyone played with "CLIPPING ON". I'll remove of my Stramash Zone score of 1700 points and will post a new highscore list.

I was hoping to get third place but looks like that's not gonna happen Right, coleco1981 is a very good player, it will be very tough to get one of the ranks 1-3. But: Even 4th winner can choose a prize from the prize list and I'd say this year all prizes are very attractive.

Ohhh a lot happend the last 24 hours. Just had time to play Spike 1 hour (or 2?) to get this highscore... Don't know yet, if I find time to play today, and more: Don't know if I beat any scores of all this very great scores... I think now at the moment, that I will end with 2nd, 3rd or 4th place... (Worst case is, that I will have to buy the t-shirt this year )

PS: I fight for every percent in the scoring table: hcmffm: If I have 249800 in Star Hawk, Coleco has 252800 and maximum is 250'000 then shouldn't I have 99.92% instead of 98.8 (98.8% is calculated 249800/252800). Maybe I will try to get 250000 anyay in Star Hawk, considering in which games I will try to make some better scores...

Last score was still with the "bugged" version. Asteroid Cowboy 771
Will look if I get some more playtime from 22:00 onwards...
Cheers...

@helmut: I played Stramash Zone with the "default" whatever that is - didn't change any settings.

As an easy fix I've set coleco1981's score to the maximum of 250.000. Chainsaw: I guess this year Malban is too strong. One thing I can tell for sure: You can choose a very attractive prize - regardless whether you are #1 or #2.

While I am impatiently waiting for my kids to go to bed I was wondering if it is actually a rule in this tournament that you play default settings? For instance I chose Game 2 in Starhawk for analogue control. So is that invalid by the rules?

I saw something about purchasing a shirt. Is that an option?
I believe in general the rule is to play with default settings unless a different game option is specified to be played. I personally don't mind a different control option being chosen but it can definitely change things.
Playing on default could possibly be tricky for games that save your settings. Maybe in the future a list of defaults could be given for games like this.

For instance I chose Game 2 in Starhawk for analogue control. So is that invalid by the rules? In games you never know which side-effects some settings may have. Therefore I'd find it good if anyone played Game 1 and with defaults. Until now there is no written rule, perhaps I'll add one next year.
