VECTOR MACE, now with a psychedelic overlay and way fewer flickers/jitters! More work on VECTOR MACE, now with a psychedelic overlay and way fewer flickers/jitters! But taking a video of a vector display never looks as good! To see the real thing, come to @wondervillenyc this Tuesday! Awesome looking concept with different physics and mechanical opportunities. Reminds me of some shooters that question the idea of shooting like R-type and Sectis. Also the tethered double ship in Space Duel, or Thrust tethered to the pods.
I wonder how it controls if it is joystick or steer and thrust. .. With no shooting it could be viable as a driving controller game, rotary steering and button thrust. .. In case the developer is reading and doesn't already know and likes the idea : a completely unmodified Atari Driving controller can be directly compatible with a Vectrex game.

Holy crap, that game looks cool! Will there be enemies who also swing maces (or other weapons) around?

The developer has tweeted that the game is running off his computer and using the vectrex as a display only via a serial port... still, it looks ace!

^Thanks for that. I was confused as to whether it was an actual Vectrex game or just being used for display, which I figured was the latter. Nice work though, along with doing that in the first place.
