Yes, I use V-Model all the time still to this day. For the amount of drawings and animation that I do, it has saved me tons of time. It's quirky and imperfect, but a great little program by Chris Tumber.
It does have one annoying flaw though, and I had emailed Chris about it way back, but he never responded. You can't move sprites horizontally. The feature is there, but it doesn't work when you click on it. The vertical movement feature does work. It's a hassle when you're doing nutty things like drawing 45 different Tripod images, and then you want to adjust something quickly to the left/right, and you simply have to do it manually (or just adjust it in the actual game code).
Fully recommended though, especially if you're planning to do a lot of interesting graphics/animation.

I must admit I never got into the program and just use graph paper instead for making my vectors but I do know that Fury was using it sucessfully. What sort of vectors do you make?

Ah, just messing about with game ideas, I've been working off and on a game for sometime but time is my greatest enemy.
