Would anyone mind instructing how this is done or give some clues?
I have been drawing on graph paper and plotting coordinates. I started using Vide to derive the relative coordinates for program which helps but it is still very tedious.
I have an old version of Inkscape that runs on my computer. I can import photos of my drawings and trace them. They save as SVG files.
I see Vide saves/loads XML files and I see that conversion from SVG to XML is not uncommon, but maybe most typically formatted for Android programs? I tried one web based SVG to XML convertor and it produced errors. I see Inkscape has an XML editor but I don't know how it works or if it is relevant to my task.
I'm not a programmer and not as computer literate as most people who endeavor this sort of stuff. Like mentioned in other threads, I am pushing the Vectorzoa vecdraw template to get my stuff displayed on Vectrex, (which Malban was very helpful in getting me started on. Thanks again Malban).
I just posted a video of some of my animations, partially as a date stamped proof of how I labored on these early ones, hopefully to be surpassed later by ones done in an easier process. I like the idea of doing things in an extreme manual process but I'm ready to cut loose at this point. I'll still be drawing by hand for animation, which I think is itself more than most humans like to subject themselves to.

So do you use Inkscape? How do you get the data you need out of these files?
.. I also downloaded some files by (inactive) forum member la1n, said to assist in converting SVG to asm/Vectrex code, but I couldn't figure out what to do with it.
I hesitated to ask here thinking this is something I ought to figure out. But I guess I'd just really like to know the answer at this point. Perhaps the subject is of common interest.
