I do believe I am missing my scores for Rip Off and Belunga Dreams. Not that it will change my position in the list though, but I fought for those scores. :-)

hcmffm Can we clarify how Vectorblade should be played? I don't think we ever stated that any existing carts should be reset to default state at the beginning of the competition (but that's what I did). Also, since Vectorblade a very much a cumulative kind of game where you can get better and better as you play more and more and unlock achievements that get saved to the cart, it gets easier the more you play it. Are we supposed to reset for each play, or can we just leave it reset once and see how far we get in 7 days? My vote would be to just reset once, and see How High Can you Get? A good point, Brett, and your suggested procedure makes sense. Vectorblade has a persistent memory and with every award you get you also get some extra like double shot or shield. Every participant in the Vector War should have pretty much the same starting and playing condition. To achieve for Vectorblade, anyone playing is asked to reset his/her Vectorblade game once. From then on, scores can be submitted and no further game reset is required. I'll add a note in the gaming rules. Sure enough, no one can check whether a game reset is really done and I don't want to force people to enter "VWX" as initials, it's a question of fairness when playing in the Vector War. And I'm sure that people do play fair. limitzer0 : You have submitted an incredible Vectorblade score (Congratulations!). Your highscore table looks pretty clean so I assume that you've started Vectorblade from scratch in VWX. Right?

(Note: I also qualified. ) ___ gliptitude: Great to see you here in the Vector War after all those years! limitzer0: Your "score card" looks really professional. Where can I order one for me? I do believe I am missing my scores for Rip Off and Belunga Dreams. Not that it will change my position in the list though, but I fought for those scores. :-) Thank you for your hint, Tony. Unfortunately it sometimes happens that I make a mistake when updating the highscore table. @all: Checking your highscores in the highscore list every now and then is a good idea. Please let me know here or via PM in case a correction is needed. @all: In the initial post you'll find a world map with locations of Vector War players (no name or nickname). Please post your (rough) location e.g. when submitting scores or send me a PM if you want to be added. The more people on the map the cooler.

Happy Vectrex Day. There is a glitch in Fortress of Narzod which I happened to trigger my first time around for a ridiculous score. I played a second time for a normal score in case the glitch disqualifies. I posted the glitch score anyway. .. It's not easy to kill the wizard and die yourself simultaneously and it takes a long time to run out "infinite" lives and get a Game Over screen! --> Hi gliptitude: I'm generally very "interested about glitches" because there are so many in several Vectrex games. Can you reproduce this glitch and tell how it works, or did it just happen, and you don't know how it exactly works? If you could describe it, it would be very nice and interesting, but no problem if you wait until Vector War is over, that nobody will use this glitch during the Vector War. PS: About Vectorblade: I just got my cartridge end of last week from Brett (THANKS AGAIN so much), so I played it first time during Vector Wars :-)

This glitch has previously been reported to also require that you be on your last life, but I'm not certain it's the case. I think if you repeat the task later in the same game it reverses the effect. There's a thread about it somewhere on here. I think I remember binarystar even examined the code.

Oh ok, thank you, I found now the thread about it, and it seems it's also described on other websites. Next time I will search myself before I ask, but I thought it is something completly new. I consider to open a Cheat and Glitch Thread after Vector War, because I know a lot of such things in other games. (All: Press the like button if you are interested in my Glitch/Cheat Knowledge, even if maybe some of them are already known...)
Edit / PS: Sorry my topic here that not belongs to "Score posting" I will try to avoid it in the future :-)
