It is nice to know that there are plenty about. Don't think I can include anything bigger than 32k as i will be using the portb6 line to reset the vectrex from my rom list program ( and this is normally used for the paging of bigger roms ).
ROM list menu is done now ( it was easier than i thought! ) , just waiting for the prototype boards to arrive!
so far i only have 34 on my list (all the gce ones and the test cartridge ) and the romlist , for the DIY Cart+8.
Any authors reading who would like to put there roms forward to go on the +8 or +32 cart?

Changed the title and order of the buttons to 'down select up' to make it easier to understand.
From the content list program it will do a cold reset when you press select for a rom.
If you hold select for a while it will put 'saved' on the screen and every time you turn on it will boot with that rom until another is saved. To get back to the menu just save rom 01. If you change the rom NOT FROM THE MENU just press reset to boot it ( not always necessary as the system sometimes crashes to a reboot anyway! ) .

Back again , looking for feedback on ANYTHING! Please , please have a look and if there is anything you think could be better let me know!!! www.levosretrocomputerprojects.co.uk/index.php/vectrex/13-diy-cart it starts here and goes for four pages. Sorry about the length of it but i am trying to make it available to the novice as well as experienced people. The PCB is not on PCBWay yet but i will post when it is!

Great project. I have a nano lying around and might be interested in building this. I love Vectorblade and was wondering if it is supported given it's larger than 32kb?

I stumbled across this project on PCBWay and had x10 carts printed (x5 8kb and x5 32kb). These will shortly be in the hands of a few friends. I went on to write some more Arduino code to have scrollable titles of each of the games displayed: github.com/Phillrb/Vectrex-DIY-Cart-PlusI'll probably make a slim version that uses an ATTiny24/44/84 (or ATTiny25/45/85 with 74LS595) but first I'd need the gerbers to make the tweaks.

I'll put a pin in this as something to come back to when I have some free time. (Scheduled for around 2035 at the moment it seems ;-) ) ... I've always wanted to try making a PCB using my small CNC router and this one looks simple enough that I might be able to manage it, as long as I can find some double-sided blank board. (Unfortunately the blank board I have at the moment is single sided - indicative of how long ago I got it...)
