I had a series of really long and boring Zoom calls this week and so I decided to use that time wisely and write a new Vectrex game. The Github link below explains how it works as well as source and binary files. VEXPAWN

Very cool! I looked at Hexpawn a while back but got side tracked and never went back. I love the articles in the reference section of your GitHub repo, from a time when all that interesting scientific stuff wasn't swimming in the internet sea of tiktok and celebrity rubbish.
I look forward toward the having a play with it later :-)

Historicaly interesting.
It's polished with music and such. I think overall it is more a demo than a game :-). I played it about ... dunno 10-15 times ... and it has learned from its mistakes and every game is now a stalemate :-).
Thanks for sharing! It shows, that something very decent can be done in a limited time frame. (Although boring zoom meetings do not really feel like a "limited" time frame)

It's like an "easy button" for Vectrex coding.

Can you add some other chess pieces so we can get it to play against Peer Johannsen's Kingslayer Vectrex chess game? Seriously though, nice to see you still active in the Vectrex world and create this interesting software.
