Great score! It Was definitely one of the most frustrating titles to get scores in for me and jbrodrick put up an excellent score early on that took me ages to beat and I barely got there. I would definitely like to try it with a good spinner to see how further I can get

@all players: Like every year it was a tough fight. Game list was a bit of an experiment with Armor Attack (Malban edition), Heads Up (soccer), Save the Planet, and Asteroid Belt. I hope that you've enjoyed playing the various games. Thank you very much for participating and making this Vector War XII a great tournament. I hope to see you next year in VW XIII, again! And not to forget the developers of these games: Thank you very much to the game developers who had sweat while developing those games. In Vector War, players sweat and enjoy when playing your excellent games. Special thanks to Christopher, for the special edition of Armor Attack, minsoft for his last minute offer for the excellent Asteroid Belt, and Thomas for providing a prerelease of Rocks 'n' Saucers for the Vector War. Last not least I thank, Darryl ( VectorX), for providing his VGF as platform for the yearly Vector War and his watching out and helping in the background.

Well done Mozie on the win!
Thanks to hcmffm for organizing everything, all the developers for donating their games and everyone for having a go.
Personally, I think the set of homebrew titles are the strongest we've ever had, they're all really excellent quality titles.
As always, I wish I could have given the event more time, I only got in about 3-4 hours of play, not enough to get around all the games, but it was quality time spent, especially in the dash to the line at the end!

Yay!! Well done to all and thanks so much to the organisers for hosting and the developers for providing the amazing games played this year. I think I was lucky in many ways because I had a week holidays this week and the weather here in Ireland was terrible so had plenty of time and excuses each day to play the games and some titles I had played lots before we started (gyrostrology, save the planet etc). Stefan, Tony's and peers scores were also incredible in many games so much so that i knew I could never beat them in those and I think any of them could have been the winner given more time to play. For me personally breaking 100 in hyperchase was something I will not forget and I found a love for the game that I never had beforehand and will continue to play some more in the future. Thanks to all and happy 40th Birthday to vectrex and all the vectrex fans who keep this amazing console alive. Now it's time for me to celebrate I think 😊😊

^ Right, John, time to celebrate. A great photo! With such a cool wrapped Vectrex and controller and a glass of red wine it's no surprise that you play and play and play. I guess after these holidays you'll need another holiday right away.

I agree with all of the above. I greatly enjoyed this war and the lineup of homebrew titles was really strong divided over multiple types of games, so there really was something for everyone to enjoy. The score board suggests that I enjoy maze games. It makes me extra proud and glad to have won in the game that I have had a hand in to make available as a prize for the prize table this year. It is a solid game in a solid shell. (pun intended). Me, Moyu and Len thank you for your fierce competition this year. Skål!

Have any of the veterans caught what a gigantic number of participants there were this year? Twenty EIGHT? I can't recall if we hit 20 before, much less nearly thirty. One for the record books!

Watering eyes, sore hands, nerve wracking moments and so much fun with great, addicting games.
Thanks a lot to all of you for the great pleasure of battling with you.
And very special thanks to Helmut and his family for spending lots of time to organize this awesome event every year.

Yeah it was again a great Vector War with a lot of great games and awesome scores / results. I'm still impressed of mozie's Hyper Chase time, or also his Asteroid Belt scores. But also the results of other players are awesome, like Fruktodlaren's Spike gets squished scores, or overall several scores of all players in all the different games.
Oh and congratulations mozie for the 1st place - you really deserved it.
Also a big thank you to Helmut for organizing Vector War again with all the work behind it.
And another big thank you to all game developers for providing some of their games for Vector War or creating special editions for Vector War and all people who are providing the great prices for the Vector War winners.
The Vector War weeks every year are just awesome and special !!!
