And yet another question: How does the logic board PCB of the 7931 console look like?
My GCE b796 and MB 7adb console have slighly different logic boards. I think these differences are commonly known. I find it a bit annoying that the GCE b796 BIOS rom chip is a 28 pin chip, while the MB 7adb BIOS rom chip is a 24 pin chip. So it is not easily possible to simply switch BIOS chips between those consoles.
How many pins does the 7931 BIOS rom chip have?

Good question, no idea, and I can't check because all my videogame stuff is packed away for moving. I've only opened one of them because the sound chip needs replacing and found it wasn't socketed, so it needs some TLC to sort that out.
