Yeah, there were quite a few people there for such a small venue. Admission was $3 for access to vendors and a handful of arcade games and two pinball machines (Ripley's & AC/DC). I spent $5 on an Atari Lynx shirt and sold ~$260 in action figures.

That would be a cool shirt. I bought a Lynx just for the game Pac-Land. What kind of action figures thexder?

I sold all of my Resident Evil/RE2 figures made by ToyBiz to another dealer at the show.
General admission pricing was $3

Holy CRAP! That's the admission for a local music expo, NOT a gaming one! But then, it doesn't look like a real huge event though.

It's not a big event. I think there were a total of 5 arcade games and 2 pinball machines. It's primarily a place for vendors to set up and sell their goods.

That would make sense then. The record conventions here are fairly big but they're all vendors, hence why they're only $3. Plus they have 10 shows a year (last I heard; sadly, I hadn't been to one in years) and have had them for years and years, so it's not a problem for them to get a good deal with the hotel (meanwhile with the gaming expo here they had problems with hotels' management and couldn't get a decent rate for a couple of years as they bounced around a few places).
