I just got issue 104 of Retro Gamer Magazine, primarily because there is an article celebrating the 40 years of Pong and, to my surprise, there is a 9-page article reviewing the Vectrex! Very nice article that goes over the console, peripherals, and games. I had to mail order the issue because it was not available locally but Barnes and Noble does carry it in some areas. www.imagineshop.co.uk/magazines/retro-gamer-issue-104.html

How much to order in U. S. currency, is that still costing around $10 each?

You did reply in my thread that I made here regarding putting the Vectrex article together, I guess you forgot about that Well, I'm on several forums and when I ran the search here, I couldn't find a reference to it! So, I just posted it.

Got my copy the other day it's a nice little article. Would have liked to see more pictures of the guys collection and more homebrew though. Hadn't seen the promo bits before, pen etc.

You did reply in my thread that I made here regarding putting the Vectrex article together, I guess you forgot about that Ah, that was where I posted the youtube link sneak preview too: I post it again here: See youtube link for sneak preview of the new issue: www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHwMUErgrJ0Vectrex article at 07:10 minutes into video.... Missing news is one problem with these forums, if you are away for a few days, you don't catch all the messages if there has been more than 10 posts, and its not easy to see what the new content is because you then have to drill down into each forum.

I've had that happen on RVG as well but it was weird for it to not come up when I ran the search. You'd think it would pop up. In any case, I guess it doesn't hurt for it to have its own thread.

Hadn't seen the promo bits before, pen etc. Yeah, they only tend to use one or two photos for the collector, and the guide is about original games only, no homebrew. So it wasn't able to feature much, albeit mentioned in regardless to a gateway to collecting the original games.

Just scrolling down and looking for the "NEW" icon isn't much though. However, I can increase the number of new posts since last time you were on though if you want.

Still a good article though. You usually just get an overview of history etc but I liked the rarity guide and some good pics especially the promo bits. Anyone have any idea of what other bits are out there?

Well that's not a surprise though, with Mayhem doing it, since he kinda sorta knows just a wee bit about the subject It's not like some writer of nowadays (that only personally goes back to the SNES or something) just did a quick look around on the internet on the Vectrex, found a few things and just wrote what everyone else knows about without any depth.
