Retrocade Magazine is a really nice site but when I visit: It feels like the first time I played Defender. My thought was this is cool but what do you do?
I have tried to visit the site several times but get lost. So I am sure it is just me but it might also be overwhelming for others.
Do you have a tutorial for dummies to help guide?

Are you referring to RetrocadeMagazine.com, the forums at RetrocadeMagazine.net or both?

Retrocade magazine is very nice indeed. I've never participated in any of these tournaments. I've never considered myself good enough for it!

The forums. Just remember I am only one person so it could be me just trying to grasp the site. Very nice site and magazine from what I have seen! Thanks much. The forums are organized into categories much like most forums are. Let's have a great turnout for this tournament! No matter what your skill level - it's free to participate and you have a chance to win Shifted by Revival Studios along with a Vector War II t-shirt designed by Helmut Mueller!

I was looking for more of the game discussion. Like gentle hints on certain games. Not give away all the secrets but maybe tips to help other gamers. Also why certain games tend to stay popular as far as scoring is concerned.
So that is were I became confused. Are you affiliated with TG?

I was looking for more of the game discussion. Like gentle hints on certain games. Not give away all the secrets but maybe tips to help other gamers. Also why certain games tend to stay popular as far as scoring is concerned. So that is were I became confused. Are you affiliated with TG? No I'm definitely not affiliated with TG. Back in the day, gamers could submit scores to magazines like Electronic Games which is why I started the scoreboards. Then it just grew from there. The tips and tricks are typically posted within a respective game's thread on the Retroboards. So along with posting scores for a game, often players will offer commentary on the game as well.
