Title says it all. Details are slim about this rare item, but my sources indicate the last one on ebay went for this price so I'll use it as a starting point for an offer. It MUST be an authentic original, not a repro or a fake some guy made in his basement. I'm getting very close to having a complete Vectrex set, so any help in finding this game would be greatly appreciated. Thanks  |

And finding one for sale is only half the battle.
Verifying whether it's a real copy or fake reproduction is another challenge altogether.
Not sure exactly how many original copies were actually produced, but it's estimated to be very low, since the only way to get this MineStorm cartridge was for Vectrex revision 1 owners who had MineStorm crash on level 13 to call the company and complain...
Think how many people actually did this, considering how tough MineStorm actually is...maybe a few hundred, if even?

Very true. It is not as if they advertised they were sending these out. Had they done that, I'm sure more would have been released.

Not I. Rarest I have are the limited FURY ones or Bedlam. Nothing gigantically rare. Well, the original Vectrex box is the rarest of them all I guess, or perhaps some of the overlays.

I found somebody selling reproduction MineStorm 2s for $40 a piece...not quite what I had in mind. Most people who do have a copy don't seem to want to let their go, not even for large amounts of $$$.

I have a Minestorm 2 cartridge (it's the one shown in the Vectrex guide I wrote). I recall paying about 100 Euros for it a few years back.

Minestorm II is rare, but not as rare as some of the homebrew games. During the last three years I've seen four copies on ebay Europe. I'll watch out and let you (darksaibot) know if there is another one sold. Actually, $500 sounds too much to me, $200 - $300 is more realistic.
