I know who the seller is, he can be trusted, but yeah, I didn't see the previous auction so I can't comment. With more than 2000 ebay sales and 100% positive feedback you're definetely trustworthy. Two options: Either the seller has multiple copies and was too lazy to take a new picture of the second cart, or a friend bidder happened to buy the cart. But this is all speculation. All in all it confirms my statement above: $500 for a Minestorm II is far too much.

Another Minestorm II for sale at ebay: cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230930488880The item is located in Germany and United States are not listed for shipping, but you might contact and ask for overseas shipping. EDIT: Just found out that the same seller sold Minestorm II in December. With the same photos. Either he has several copies or he did not sell the cart for some reason even though the ebay auction ended with a sale. The comparatively low bids in the December auction might even be the reason why the seller has set a minimum price. I'm an occasional eBay seller and have some familiarity with how the auctioning system works. If the seller lists a game, and wants to sell another copy of it at a later date, he or she has the option of listing the second copy using the same pictures and details as the first. In essence, it makes a facsimile of the first auction and cuts the listing time in half. This is less than ideal, however, because the condition of the second cartridge may not match the first; and with a high-dollar sale, the condition of the item is a priority. The only other explanation is that the game sold and was returned/refunded for some reason. In these situations, I'd recommend contacting the buyer to request additional photographs.

Right, wyldephang, these are also reasonable explanations.

Minestorm II auction will end in 3 days. No bids until now.
EDIT: The auction ended without any bids. Looks like 200 EUR (~260 USD) is too much for a Minestorm II.

Interesting. I have noticed Vectrex sales in general seem to be leveling.

Didn't last long, it's already sold after only a few days Maybe I should sell mine as well... Sold for $450 - far too much money, I think. Yes, Minestorm II is rare, but it is offered at ebay every now and then.
