This seems like a game which would benefit well from christophertumber's new method of coding.

They are similar however their game dynamics are quite different, just as Thrust and Gravitrex are similar or Star Castle and Yar's Revenge are similar.

It was pretty different! The rules for getting the crown and getting past the temple were a pain in the ass though.

That spider was one of the most bloodthirsty villains along the golden games era! Very baleful I could love a vectrex version of the old Night Driver; the making could be relatively simple.

I think a Cosmic Chasm II would be good. Have some different enemies, like a Super Planet Protector in some areas or something, where you've got an area cleared out, you're about to proceed to the next one, then suddenly it comes flying in out of nowhere, spinning around the place. That'd be a real pain!
That, and some other different gameplay mechanics/goals this time around (can't think of any right now, but I'm tossing that in) would be cool.

Hey i agree a Cosmic Chasm sequel could be great, and there are lots of things in that game to be modified to make it different. .. It could have a more complex network of levels that were more of a progression than the original.

I remember that cosmic chasm is one of the George Pelonis' favorite games. I asked him a few months ago if he would make some kind of sequel ... I don't know whether he will or not . Let's hope he or some one else will!

I also really like cosmic chasm and I would love to see a sequel. Good idea!

Yeah, because unfortunately, after a while the game doesn't really change once the Planet Protectors start speeding up. Putting in some new ones and/or goals of some sort I think would do decently.

This seems like a game which would benefit well from christophertumber's new method of coding. That is a good idea. Would a game like Frost Bite also by Activision be possible?

Well, considering there's already Spike Hoppin' and the upcoming Vector Hopper, I don't see why not...

I think Rabbit Transit would be an easier game to port.

I'd like to see a Vectrex version of Custer's Revenge. (not really.)
Seriously though, does anyone remember Atlantis for the 2600? A 2-player version of that for the Vectrex would rule.
