21. Berzerk. 24. Demon Attack–Imagic 30. H. E. R. O.–Activision Reviving old thread here Bezerk really was an excellent port, as the arcade graphics was so simple, the 2600 had no problems to recreate it pretty faithfully. Superb game. I´m going to get the cart from Atariage with the voices included. What was great with Demon Attack, was that it also reminded me of a bit of Phoenix. Fast paced, and the huge amount of different demons and attack patterns, makes it a must have still today. H.E.R.O. was a game I fist played on the C64. And it became one of my favorites on that system. I was really happy to find out that the 2600 version was just as great. This is a game I never get tired of

The robots and your character were a bit larger, but oh well, it was still pretty decent, and you got several game variations/variables (shootable Evil Otto?) to choose from too! What was great with Demon Attack, was that it also reminded me of a bit of Phoenix. Fast paced, and the huge amount of different demons and attack patterns, makes it a must have still today. Yep. Sure, you're still shooting groups of three over and over again, but the concept still holds up pretty decently, and the graphics are really good! H.E.R.O. was a game I fist played on the C64. And it became one of my favorites on that system. I was really happy to find out that the 2600 version was just as great. This is a game I never get tired of It's really amazing to have a game with that many levels on the 2600! Too bad it didn't do well, what with being released during the crash. Activision only ported it all over the place, yet I don't think it got the recognition it deserved.

And I will probably get hell for saying this, but I think H.E.R.O. is far more enjoyable than Pitfall.

I agree H.E.R.O is better than Pitfall!, Pitfall is well programed for sure and very iconic but H.E.R.O played so much better especially in the later levels as you need to have your wits about you.I like the water/lava effect on H.E.R.O and could watch the motion of it for hours lol, definately a top 10 title unlike snooze fest pitfall!,I found the sequel annoying and not very enjoyable either.
