This thread is for any mini-game on any kind of platform.
Well, I just got back into Super Space K'Noidtrix recently, which was a mini-game for The Adventures of Willy Beamish for the Sega CD, which takes elements of Space Invades with Tetris, sort of. You shoot from the bottom of the screen while monsters (one in each top corner) toss blocks down at you; if you let them land, they will stack on top of each other, and the game will end if the stacks reach the top (like Tetris). I barely even remember this game, but then Beamish loads and runs so horrendously slow that I haven't really messed with it since 1996! But then, I guess I was just trying to get through the Beamish game and didn't really mess with it, as you can only save one game of Beamish anyway, and your "Nintari" system it runs on in the game gets locked up after the first day (I assume mom in the game will unlock it again later). But the picture on my tv started flipping while playing games only (the regular tv viewing isn't affected), and it's not my rf box, since I swapped it out with another one to run my Atari 7800 off of, and the picture rolls on that too! So I'm already out with playing this any more, as I remembered that with plugging in a portable dvd player a couple of years ago that at first the sound, then picture went out with that. I don't know much about tvs, so I shouldn't open it up and poke around in there in case something needs to be soldered or replaced. I should be getting a used tv sometime this week though (I only need a 17" tv max, as anything bigger than that is too big in my small room), which a new tv that size isn't expensive, but I don't have much money to spare right now, so I'll just get one at a resale shop (usually only $10-25 for that size, if even that much).
And those games off of the Atari 2600 Escape from the MindMaster made the game really great. Don't know about Party Mix from the same guys but that one's hard to get your hands on (not counting the ROM though). And of course the great granddaddies of the games that made up Gorf and Tron kicked ass.
