Thanks, you too! 106k in Spinball how!? I've played three or four times and 106k was the best result. Not quite sure what scored, i guess it was the three drop targets at the top left.

Just finished up my last qualifying entries (except Narzod, because the threshold score is too high!). So far, we have 4 people participating and we would definitely love some company! www.retrocademagazine.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2644The game selection this year is awesome, with a seeming focus on Kristof Tuts, racing games, and a tribute to John Dondzila. Come on people, show us your scores!

Not here, but Rob (founder) is usually on every day, so it shouldn't be much longer. Yet, i have score to submit and concerning "Narzod"; one is 10 170 points (normal way) and up to 80 000 pts with boss bug Don't exploit the bug and use it in the competition though, I'll tell you that much. Other than that, have fun!

Concerning Vectrexians, I am playing the Rom on vecflash as I don't have the cart. I wonder if the game (frame) is the same as I have difficulties in scoring more than 3 000 pts. I don't exclude yet not to be really skilled at it !!

Vector War III is over. Thanks to all players for the fair and good competition we had. And naturally congratulations to the three best players: 1.) Stefan 2.) Jasper 3.) Olivier
This year, playing was medium fun for me because scores were really high and it cost me more and more effort. Perhaps I should have realized earlier that other players are better! ;-) Also I had the feeling that "funny" people (e.g. Crazy Climber) and less ambitioned players were missing in the tournament.
In Vector War III, 6 players have participated, only. From my point of view this is a bit disappointing and I wonder why not more people participate. Most of the threshold scores were feasible for medium players, so noone was excluded. Would be good to know if there was anything that kept you from joining the Vector War and that could be improved. (No need for excuses. ;-) )

For me I was content in updating the scoreboards and tallying the results in the spreadsheet. I didn't have time to dedicate to playing the games.

... You had to play and supply qualifying scores for six games. I only have five. Hmm, perhaps time to enhance your Vectrex collection a bit. ;-) Personally I'd find 5 out of 9 games sufficient for a two week tournament, but 6 out of 13 is also a good number. Not sure what had happened if two player would have had 6 games and 100% each, though. For me I was content in updating the scoreboards and tallying the results in the spreadsheet. I didn't have time to dedicate to playing the games. Thanks for organizing the Vector War and updating the scores, Rob. My impression was that the Vector War III was exciting but not so much lively and amusing. But perhaps it's just me and my high expectations. ;-) Other opinions and suggestions?
