I'm not familiar with Terry the Turtle since it came out for the ZX Spectrum (which was either not released here in the States or it didn't sell well, I don't recall which), so I can't say anything about the game, but jammajup on here is also making a "vektor" version of it www.jammajup.co.uk/terry-the-turtle-vector.htmlI assume you can't play Gravitar as a Gravitar game, but also make sure to go here as well to see other included vector stuff, like a Vectrex Berzerk rendition, Mine Storm and Rip-Off screenshots (/not playable mini-games?) as well.

It's the same game, and it's not a vector game. It's a platformgame called Manic Miner where all the levels has been edited to look like vectorgames, so it's the exact same game as you see in the video below - just with edited graphics.

Actually guys the Terry THe Turtle games are created using JSWed a Jetset Willy / Manic Miner editor by John Elliot. The editor allows you to either load in either a 128K JSW or MM and basically wipe the slate clean and create your own game using the same engine. For years it has been used by ZX Spectrum fans like myself who have no knowledge of programming or machine code to create their own games,of course there must be at least 50 released over the years of varying quality and so anybody but die hard Willy fans are quite sick of them.I am quite late on the Zx Homebrew scene and are quite possibly the only person still using JSWed as opposed to Shoot`em up designer(S.E.U.D),Arcade game designer(A.G.D) or some other software/editor.Because you can start from scratch the game layout for JSW can be changed so it is not the same layout as the mansion in the original game,in fact my first JSWed project Pip The Pipistrelle was in a tower 2-3 screens wide and 65 floors high so despite the editors restrictions you can be quite creative, with TTT i have the turtle going through 128 screens split into 6 zones like Ghost`n Goblins .Manic Miner of course is different and not free roam as you have to complete it screen by screen. Anyway... if for some reason you are interested the Original 3 versions of TTT and the Vector special edition can be downloaded from here www.jammajup.co.uk/purple-unicorn-software.html just click on the images for the page and screen shots.,the release thread at world of spectrum is here www.worldofspectrum.org/forums/showthread.php?t=44338 with more screen shots .There are youtube vids for the normal 3 versions but the Special Vector version s not done yet,i will return here with the link when i make it so you can watch.
