As you know by my mails to you and the posts at RGV in the past, I'd be VERY interested in your Vectorcade. It's just way too expensive for me. Good luck, Neo, in selling it.

Realist, reduce, recycle (if possible on the latter).

Buy-it-not price is $1888 - that's the highest price that has ever been asked for a Vectorcade. "Buy it not" is right. !!

LOL. Best subliminally-induced typo ever! I think the Brett's Vectrocades are hella cool. They're beautiful. I would've bought one in a heartbeat if I was around these parts then. But I just don't get the asking prices. Is it the rarity? Is it because polished fiberglass reminds people of vintage stingrays? Is it because reproducing them is impossible without mad fibre skills? (I've looked into it; it would take years of practice to get that good.) Would people still buy them if they were made of wood or aluminum? (I doubt it.) It must be the secret messages inside...

You're not just buying a controller made by a an enthusiast. You're buying a piece of art produced by a family. All of the skill Brett's father put into the work really shows.
I had an uncle and cousins who did fiberglass work. I definitely appreciate the Vectorcade more because of that history.
